THE SANDBOX THEATRE'S HEDDA GABLER

DURING THE YORK FRINGE FESTIVAL in Downtown York!
The inaugural festival will present more than two dozen performances by local and regional artists in theatre, music, spoken word, improv, video and more, taking over various venues across York City!

Hedda Gabler tells the story of a woman trapped in a man's world and constantly searching for a way to live life on her own terms. What will Hedda do to gain power over her life, and what it is that she wants so badly?

Written in 1890, this classic piece of theatre, reimagined in modern times, will leave the audience questioning how much a woman's place in society has really changed.
